While I agree that marriages can be comfortable and fiery, I don't think the journey that is marriage can be limited to that. Also, I think they can fluctuate easily between the two points.

I think there is a huge difference between marriages where the spouses work at separate jobs and those where spouses work together. John and I have our fiery moments and our comfortable moments. As he puts it, "There's no one I'd rather argue with than you." :)
